I finished Dark! Most of me thinks That was gorgeous! and the rest of me thinks there was an episode missing that focused on Claudia-Regina’s conception-birth-babyhood and Agnes-Tronte’s conception-birth-babyhood.And maybe it got off the rails a little on episode 5 but they put in several cute little info-dumps, think Jurassic Park, to get that unsteady train rolling.

Canavan, I grabbed the “new version” of The Night Ocean from NetGalley and was unimpressed. Though one likely had nothing to do with the other.

While I am now curious to read Lovecraft’s collaborations with Barlow let me save you time (or challenge you to search harder than I did), there is no story called Ignoble Rot and no collection titled Memories of Leng and other Pieces.

This might be my favorite sentence, it’s lovely and evocative. But that is the last of the good news. This was a pointless hallucinatory dream.
