Hi Ian! I'm fine, last night off so giving myself free reins to stay up reading all night, lol! How are you, what are you doing?

Lol, any particular reason clowns are hard not to think about today?

I can't be the only one noticing? You have a heroine, she's dedicated, work out 20 hours/week to be on top, and then they don't eat. Stupid!
In the Incryptid series the heroine has been trained her whole life to fight, has been a professional dancer... and doesn't eat. Two (male of fucking course) frinds talks about her (in front of her) and was like "I stood over her while she ate a sandwich." "A whole sandwich?" and I was like, GAH! First of all: If you regularly eat so little that eating a sandwich results in "A whole sandwich?" from a friends you have an eating disorder. And if you eat that little, you muscles will be weaker than they can be, because you're neglecting your body.
If you doesn't even eat as much as a sandwich occasionally you will die. You can't be like "to have this weapon can be the difference between life and death" when you're neglecting your most important weapon of them all. It doesn't matter if you have a hundred knifes if you got unconsious because you ate four days ago.
And the thing is that it makes it normal. We already has a view in society that thin is better, not eating is good. And when books like these normalize it it wont go away. We will keep seeing our young relatives wtruggle with not feeling thin enough, we will see them die before our eyes when they wont eat.
And then here are the feminist pov as well - two men helping the dumb female who doesn't know her own best. Because even if she's grown up you canät posibly think that a woman can have he ability to think enough to make her own descisions?
And it's not like this is the only one. That's the sad part. It's maybe not as open as here, but it's not the first time I've seen it. Either they're thin and not eating, or thin and eating as much as they can, or normalweighted and think they are fat (but the weight is "in the right places" and a man comes to tell her that she's perfect as she is, swoon!). And I'm fucking sick of it! Why does it have to be like this?

I'm trying to get Loke to eat his breakfast while watching Shaun the Sheep, he's easily distracted, lol.

What are you doing?

Rachel, oh, how did you like it? I really had to force myself to put it aside this morning and go to sleep, lol!
