Lol I can see it, how I open the book and 60 mages appear out of thin air, all starting to introduce the book, all of them trying to speak louder than the others so I just sit there in the living room, dumbfounded while 60 mages scream about the book! :D

Jeff I understand, and if it's a book I don't particuallary like but it's not offensive I have no problems with anyone else liking it, then I give it to someone who might like it or to second hand.
I actually own a copy of, if not the most hatefilled book in history, easy top three. But then my copy of Malleus Maleficarum (The Hammer of Witches) comes with 60 mages of introduction before the hate begins. :p

To distrubute hateful messages is to support them. If you had a CD containing white power music, would you donate it, for other to hear and maybe be inspired by? I wouldn't. If I had a hard cover copy of Berivik's manifest, I wouldn't donate it for others to read either. Sure, I could give it to someone needing it for a work they were doing or something, but to charity for whomever to pick up? No.
This particular book used the i-word instead of native americans, and had other, degrading, word to describe native americans. And not like one person in a brawl, but most everyone in the whole book. So they are normalizing degrading speech, and no, I don't think that anyone should read it, not by help by me anyways.
But then, it DOES feel wrong to throw it away, but that discomfort is still lesser than the discomfort of the thought of somone reading it.

I should have been at the shooting range for work today, but my coughing is still bad enough that I have to take this ethylmorphine coughing syryp, so I called in to reschedule.

I read this book that was filled with racist language, and I just can't let anyone read it. Is this when you shred it to do artsy things with it? Or is some books just bad enough to get thrown away?
Suppose I could bring it to my grandma's cabin in the mountains to decorate the shelves, but then, someone might read it.

A woman is riding a train towads her best friends wedding with her best friend and her fiancé. She tries her best friends ring on and then the train crashes and she loses her memory. The best friend and the fiancé dies and the MC is assumed to be the best friend, which means she gets to live with the fiancé's family, none have met her before. And she and the brother (? best friend?) of the fiancé falls deeply in love, but since she was about to get married to his brother (? best friend?) it is forbidden love.
Then she recovers her memory and they live HEA.
Any suggestions? Already gone through a couple of amnesia-love lists on GR without luck.

But I loooove Welcome to Sweden! :D

Mike and Dave need wedding dates was super funny tho.

@LJ i find apartments better regarding neighbors. I say Hi to my neighbors when we meet in the stairway, but that's about it. If you have a house with a garden, you're almost expected to hamg out byvthe fence if the neighbor is outside as well, or just you're most expected to talk if you meet them. In apartments you barely say anything more than the necessary, and that ain't much! ;) but that might differ in other countries, of course.

Omg, maybe it's because I'm a little drunk, but I'm laughing sooo hard!! The poor cats, hahahahaha!!!

Kim, it's waiting on you! ;)

.....the cat snores!

I've put my gold cape on the dresser for tomorrow, lol! :D
How are you? And when are you moving here? I have an extra room you know! ;)
