I've not started anything new yet but I did start a lengthy solo mission in Warframe - as I play with mates and they want me to unlock related content for the PvE part of warframe from this mission. I'm really not enjoying it as it can be really frustrating.
I did consider the Fallout 4 DLC too but only if I can transfer my save file. And I looked at RE4 remake as it's on sale on the PS Store but after a bit of research even on lower difficulties it's still a really challenging game so that's put me off.

Both games are good but I'd have to say my favourite of the two is Terminator.

Yea Space Marine 2 for me as well but no idea when it comes out since they delayed it. I might play Outlaws on Ubisoft plus on Xbox as they put all new games on there and only for a £17.99 month subscription - see if I can complete it in a month.

Yea completey agree Equinox - not everything has to be AAA especially now they take so long to develop. Remember when we would get a AAA trilogy in one console generation. Now we're lucky to get one AAA game for the big hitters in one console generation. And the thing is Robocop and Terminator and are really good games but might not have that AAA graphical polish - but to me they still look good, but more importantly are fun.
Over the coming months I think there are only two games I'm interested in. Still Wakes the Deep (AA) and Starwars Outlaws (AAA). I cannot think of anything else I'm itching to play.

Thanks Deckard. Yea Dead Space is very tempting as I really enjoyed it back in the day but I was thinking of playing something I haven’t played before but from what you say perhaps I should play Dead Space.
Yea Terminator and Robocop are both excellent games and I really enjoyed both and both are better than most. Kinda old school but no bad thing for me.
Seeing as I have games pass and ps plus extra nothing has come on either service in months I really want to play. The basic ps plus has been better than either.

Completed Terminator Resistance. Really enjoyed it. Great world design, maps, terminator nostalgia, gun play and with some really good linear sections with massive scale in parts. 8/10 on the r-score-o-meter. I can’t believe IGN gave it a 4/10. And I really enjoyed Infiltrator Mode playing as a terminator. And I got the platinum trophy ;~).
Now I’m struggling for my next game. I have a kinda nothing really grabbing me back log. So it’s one of Callisto Protocol, Dead Space remake or Immortals of Aveum. I played Dead Space back in the day. Anyone have any thoughts good or bad on the other two? Is Immortals rock hard?

Excellent. I thought they would. I'm definitely a fan of the TV series now. I've not even bothered with the Halo TV series :-).

I've finished Fallout TV series. Really very good. They really did the game justice. I wish I could remember all the locations etc from the game as there was a location they showed at the very end I guess must be from the game.*********SPOILER*************Turns out it was NV.

I played 3, 4 and NV but my favourite was 3. I’m not sure if the ps5 upgrade has a duplicate trophy list to ps4. I can’t find any details on the trophies on the interwebs. I doubt I’ll replay 4 as it wasn’t my favourite.

Hi all. I’ve not posted in a couple of weeks as I’ve had a virus which meant I’ve not gamed or even gone to work much. Feeling better now and returned to Terminator Resistance and still really really enjoying it. About 2/3rds of the way through.
I’m half way through Fallout on Amazon Prime and they’ve really done it justice. Best game to TV series adaptation I’ve seen. They’ve absolutely nailed the Fallout feel, world and atmosphere. Actually pretty gory too. Makes me realize how mediocre the TLOU series is in comparison which I enjoyed but the TV series lacked a lot and the story felt rushed.

Took a week off work last week and didn’t game much except for starting Terminator Resistance Enhanced over the Easter weekend. I must be about half way through the campaign. So far absolutely loving it. Really nails Terminator and I love the open environments and the exploration albeit limited to small areas. Actually enjoying this game more than Robocop. The graphics are better too 4k 60fps just because they’ve not gone for effects over resolution. Some hairy moments too where Terminators have snook up on me unexpectedly. For a AA game it’s brilliant. And even the platinum trophy looks on assuming Infiltrator mode is good and not rock hard. So far a solid 8-9/10.

Has the picture got worse recently or has it always been bad? If is 5-6 years old it probably has no dimming zones or has edge lighting which are both bad for washed out blacks.

If it’s an old or cheap LCD TV with very little or no local dimming the picture can look a bit washed out. If it’s in HDR try calibrating the HDR on the PS5. Also try adjusting the contrast on the TV. My old LG looked terrible in game mode but it always looked bad. My gaming TV now is a Samsung LED with hundreds of dimming zones and a very high nit brightness in HDR so generally looks good for an LCD. OLED can have very dark pictures especially in bright rooms unless you get one of the new OLEDs which can get very bright but normally they are very expensive. And the higher OLED screen brightness panels are normally only found on the bigger screen sizes.

Morning all. Finally completed The Entropy Centre. A good game overall. In the last four missions or so there was a lot of traversel through a high tech facility (without puzzle rooms) that was really good, atmospheric and a nice break from the back to back puzzles. Defo a game for Portal 1, 2 fans. 7/10 on the r-score-o-meter. Oh and as I thought only one trophy from the Platinum. I think there are 70+ collectibles and I got all but a handful (without following a guide) however you can only collect to 100% in a complete play through even though there is a chapter select - so I'm not repeating the entire game.
Next I guess it's probably Terminator Resistance but I may have to complete some Warframe Codexes first to keep my gaming buddies happy - which I'm not looking forward to as I've read they are hard.

Ah yes Focus is what I used. Made it easier for me too. Although I think I did increase my weapon magazine size as well - my memory of it is starting to fade a little but ultimately easy to get later on in the game.

It’s pretty easy when you’ve upgraded your weapon several missions in. I got over 400 and I’m far from a skillful gamer. You revisit the police station many times so go back after you get some more circuit boards (or whatever they’re called).
I think the toughest trophy is ‘There can be only one’. I did it first time but only just and I was well prepared for it. Ultimately pretty straightforward and you can repeat it by going back to the checkpoint or repeating the level.

Yea it's nothing special but it was good fun AA game. It did get a bit samey after a while and that mechanic you describe would have worked in the game well. I think my next game - although I think The Entropy Centre I'll finish off slowly - will be Terminator Resistance but this time I'll skip the plat even though it looks easy.
Equinox80 wrote: "Ping! - Robocop: Rogue City"What did you think of Robocop?
Me. Just been plugging away at The Entropy Centre - still got 5 more missions to go and it's definitely getting trickier. Got to say though in recent weeks probably even for Evil West and even Alan Wake 2 I've lost my gaming mojo a bit.
