This is why this holiday is the first holiday in years - for me at least - where there are more new release games than I can handle.

Yea I'm the same on Primal. I was put off by the response it received and eventually thought for cheap to give it a go. Wasn't disappointed at all - good game and mixes up the far cry with the prehistoric setting and weapons. I loved the bow - in no way did I miss my AK :-). Plus the only far cry I've really hunted in - spent hours just chilling while hunting.

I enjoyed Far Cry 5 so well worth playing. Terrible ending game play wise but other than that good - albeit with the annoyances of scouting planes spotting every 30 minutes and trying to kill you. If you like far cry before you won't be disappointed. Actually my favourire far cry is 2, and I'm one of those weirdos that liked FC Primal :-). Looking forward to 6 - can't wait to see how good it looks on Series X. However, due to the crowded holiday release window I'll probably get it as a christmas present rather than on release.

In the past The Order 1886 was £5 on the PS Store in a sale. They must have put the prices up in this sale.

I invited Hoopla to the new forum. I think it's highly unlikely he'll rejoin. Let's just say I tried to keep him a member of the old forum but as the person that shall not be named was admin when I added hoopla back he was deleted again.

I don't think it works like that. There is a delete button - any mod can delete the forum independently. Plus first it went private - the forum still existed - and then it was deleted. I think he removed the other mods first so they had no admin rights and then he was left with sole admin rights. I suspect he probably wasn't sure how it worked and removed us just in case we were messaged as a warning or had to approve the forum deletion. For such a measured action of complete contempt for us I'm glad he's gone.

No I'm not naming - just in case I'm wrong - but the evidence is strong considering the same person has unfriended me on both here and xbox live. I know people might think he might be having a hard time or something like that but for me you don't take a giant crap on a forum like that - he had a total disregard to people he's been chatting with for about a decade. We even messaged each other many times when I helped him through a tough time in his life (this was a year or so ago). As far as I'm concerned I hope he doesn't come back and if he does I'd prefer to block him - unless he's got a very good reason and actually owns up to what he did.

I played all three Dead Space games. I actually liked 3, it's defo the weakest of the three but still enjoyable IMO. Not sure of the first two which I prefer.

Any mod can delete a forum. I checked - it gave me one last warning when I tested it on here (obviously I didn't and won't go through with it ever) but it's clear it can be done by just one mod.

If I remember rightly I joined the Amazon forum soon after I got my PS3 which was 2009, or even 2008, I think. So 12-13 years. Crazy.

I think I had the same run in with the same fool.

If the forum is deleted again then we know it wasn't intentional among the previous admins - I suspect it was though. TBH I'd be happy for my previous friend that unfriended me to rejoin us - just not as moderator. Not worth the risk again.

BTW. Anyone invited Error - and was it one other guy off the american forum that I can't remember the name of. They always brought good stuff to the old forum.

Yea I'm not sure what caused the forum deletion. I blame John. Seriously. Should have accepted the PS4 Pro and all of this wouldn't have happened ;-).

Glad to see this place back on its feet after only one day. Not sure if there is anyone else missing? BTW the forum was deleted intentionally is my best bet - no conclusive proof but a sequence of events of being kicked out of the forum (with the previous forum going private first), the forum then actually being deleted and then a previous admin that was on my friends list unfriending me leads me to think the forum was intentionally deleted. Suffice to say I think we should move on, forget about it - but be careful who we make a moderator. I’m sure everyone here is totally trustworthy but unfortunately one person wasn’t in the last deleted forum and is no longer anywhere to be seen so I believe their goodreads account is deleted or private.

Morning all. A bit of a bizzare day yesterday. Hopefully we can get everyone back that was on the old forum before it disappeared into thin air.

Gaming wise I've just been playing multiplayer recently. The next gen patch is out for Doom Eternal next week so that'll be my next game.

I did do something dramatic yesterday - other than set this forum up in a hurry. I drilled a hole through a wall so I can hard wire my Series X to the router lol. I mean it worked fine on WiFi but now I've moved my office downstairs my gaming set-up is so close to the router (with only a wall inbetween) it seemed an opportunity not to be missed for the sake of a hole. Might help when everyone else in the house is streaming Netflix.

I can't seem to find anyone unless you guys are friends with them.
