Tired today. It's been one of the most stressful weeks I have ever known. The new person I'm helping keeps moaning about not having a printer just for herself and at one point yesterday was telling me I was doing something wrong.

It's my job and she was telling me I was wrong? She doesn't even know how to do it!! haha :D

I'm hoping that today will be calmer as my head is banging and I really don't feel well. I'm sure it's just stress. How I came home last night and wrote part of a humorous story I'll never know :D

Hectic morning here today. I'm helping everybody and barely getting to do my own work :-\ Need to take a breath and try and get through today!

It was a great idea, Pat :) I've already started it. I'll be changing just a couple of things, but I'll explain why in a PM. Hopefully the change will be okay. Your character name will not change nor will the main event, it's just one small detail I need to change as it doesn't quite fit into what we already know about Bumpkinton.

It's likely to be the end of August that this is released. I think I will struggle massively to get the novella completed to the standard I want and write the two shorts in time for July. For now the release date remains July but it's likely to move.

My next novella in my Bumpkinton Tales series will be called The Bachelor and here is the blurb :)

End of July, yep. Once I have the novella competed I'll start the first short story. No idea what the first will entail.

I think the 3rd novella will be next year. I'm going to need a break from Bunpkinton after The Bachelor but I may do a Christmas short story

I wish, its on its tenth rewrite or something haha Then I have to write 2 short stories :D hehe

I am running a competition on my website for my next Bumpkinton story. If you'd like to name a character in a short story as well as come up with a scene idea, or even a storyline (it doesn't need to be, just a scene idea is enough) then you can enter. I will pick my favourite and the winners idea will be written into the short story and they will be sent a free signed copy as well as some other goodies.

The closing date is 31st March so I have time to write it. You don't need to have read my Bumpkinton stories to enter, just picture a village and something that might happen there and you'll be fine :)
