114553 Sometimes the smarter they re the easier it is to deceive them. they will have given her numbers to call and verify who they are and guess what the number they call is 90% of the time there own number and it is the actual con artist they are talking to. Yes they are that good. You have heard the old saying he is so good he could sell a refrigerator to an Eskimo. All the information she might look for on these people will be right at her fingertips and guess what ? They made it available for her and it is exactly what she was looking for and wanted to see.

114553 It simple if you have a mind for deceit to know how to live by being a cheat. They pray on vulnerable and will know how to get you at your weakest. Things like obituaries in papers gives them names and addresses from there it is a simple search to find other info once they have it their victims bank account is there oyster.

They love targeting the elderly in specific the widows or widowers they are lonely and on there own they are easy targets. Someone did the same thing to my mother because she had mild dementia at the time they were able to talk her out of her money. My sister has since taken over her finances so it won't happen again.

Don't chastise your friends for being taken in these people know exactly what they are doing and can talk the birds out of the trees.

To counter that one I say I am me that's who I am, if you don't know me you have no need to know me if you do then don't ask again.

It shuts up a lot of people when you say that, I don't know why LOL.

114553 Ori I have been tempted to use that line many times. What really works if someone is being really annoying, F*.* off. I don't know why they get offended. I've done it twice at work and those two don't speak to me I don't know why...

114553 We used the term circular file 13 for those items that are abandoned. I am willing to listen to what you have to say as soon as I tell you what to say. All opinions count but mine is the only one that will be enacted.

Yup the higher archie at work always making you feel important, oops meant impotent LOL.

114553 How about, You need to know... I understand everything you are going through, really. The one you have to truly watch out for is I know what happened, meaning they got the wrong end of the stick and the truth is even worse then the facts they have available to them.

Lexi that has a military connection I've even used it when I was in the military. It is a way of letting someone know they are asking questions that they need to leave alone for there own good.

114553 Driven through Devon and Somerset and spent a few holidays in Cornwall, Lovely county. Although it is a bad place to go in the summer, unless you like being stuck in traffic all day.

Lexie I spent 20 years in the Air Force and spent nearly 4 years in Texas and drove from Texas to Massachusetts on the east coast and back again LOL. Not recommended in a very small car with three kids.

Have you heard the Suffolk mumble? I live in Suffolk and deal with the mumble and also deal with people from Norfolk wow get your head around those accents.

114553 Honey there is always room for more at tea. Sorry couldn't resist. Armageddon sounds like arma geddon out of here. A southern thing no offense meant but spent several years in the south and that is pretty much how the talk. OK so according to Texans they aren't southern.

114553 Hi All I am glad to hear this page is still being used. Lexie it sounds like me when I get up off the couch LOL. Creaking and cracking moaning and groaning and that's on a good day.

Degus is a nice word, it sounds like they are taking out the 75 percent of gust so you are left with the T a lovely drink with Jam and bread.

114553 Just remember the person you are trying to use it on. Some of them might take it as a complement if they are as thick as you say...

114553 I am not a lover of violence in any form, unless sarcasm can be considered violence. The farthest I will go is violent language. I can't compete with you ladies in language abilities as I am not very fluent in my own language let alone any other language.

I'm betting you can find a book or two out there covering that particular material Patriciaeona.

114553 Ori, it takes a blind man to see what is right in front of him, A very old saying from when I was young. At first I didn't understand but thankfully now that I am ancient I do. so I will expand on that it takes a deaf man to hear what is being said. I don't know how much sense that makes but that's ok.

Watching Snapped Women who kill, it makes me laugh so far all of the ones I have seen not a one of them has snapped, they just out right murdered not through anger or jealousy, THEY DIDN'T Snap....

114553 You abuse the bee's and they will sting you and leave. Patriciaenola I hear you, I to was not overly vociferous as a child growing up and lacked the personality and confidence to state an opinion, and when I did I was always left feeling out of place as people would pick apart what I said as if I wasn't even standing there.

The children and those that are child like, are the ones who need our respect support and strength.

Now being a miserable crotchety old man I have no problem expressing my opinion and holding my own in verbal discourse.

I hate the term Vegan, sorry if you are a vegan but 98% of the Vegans I have come across are so arrogant. Vegans think the only important thoughts are there own thoughts and no one should have any other opinion. The only important opinion is what they(the vegans) believe in.

Ok as a carnivore I do enjoy a nice piece of meat with my dinner. Man is not meant to be a vegetarian or vegan he is an omnivore our bodies needs the nutrients from both animals and plants. Man has relied on Animals to feed him and keep him warm. If we are cognisant of how we treat the animals we rely on, then there is a symbiosis that is mutually beneficial to both ends. We care for them and they in turn feed us and keep us warm.

Sorry got on my soap box again. To many militant vegans out there getting on my wick.
