114553 LOL I use to go to the doctor on base with problems but would always end up with a grocery bag full of pills. I use the NHS now and for minor things like a pain in the back they wont even see you just tell you to take some Tylenol for the pain and don't rest the back as it only causes more problems.

Have you gone to the doctors with your problem? I know my daughter use to get that because the medication she was on because it messed with her Kidneys.

114553 I have heard of the other theory, but it was proven to be a false claim. According to Nazi arrest records the thief was arrested and then let go because of his cooperation with the authorities.

114553 One good thing Ori the heavy cleaning is done so you can rest your back a little. At least you have a valid reason for your back hurting I don't.

I went to bed a week ago feeling fine and woke up the next morning in agony and hardly being able to move and I have been in real pain ever since. I can't take time off work so I have to continue working with a bad back. You guessed it I do a lot of lifting and all of it over 5lbs in weight LOL. The last time I went to the doctor with a back problem he put me on a lifting restriction of 5lbs. I laughed. I can't afford not to work and they wont let me work with such a limitation on my primary tasking.

mrbooks, did you get to see the attic they were hidden in? And do they know who it actually was that turned them in? I'm curious ..."

Yes I got to see it and even walk around a bit of it very chilling. The consensus is it was the thief that broke into the warehouse during Christmas when it was suppose to be empty. It seems he got away with it for turning them in.

Nope, lady fingers are par boiled then drained and dried then deep fried then cooled then rolled in oats and baked for 15 min. you serve them with a bit of a honey dip and you have some sweet and crunchy lady fingers.

Or if you can get it, small pots of dill growing that can be picked and still allowing it to grow, quite handy when you use a lot of one particular type of herb.

114553 Hey I came from Massachusetts and it was canning mayhem there as well. It always taste better if you do it your self. From Homemade green tomato relish to strawberry Jam Blackberry Jam Tomato's Peaches green beans Corn you name it we canned it when I was a kid. We also grew it on my mothers 1/4 Acre garden, You will be surprised how much you can grow on 1/4 of an acre. Of course there is always the homemade Pickles of both verities.

114553 Here is one I heard many a many a year ago.

In Sunday school the teacher asked the little kids if they knew what Mary and Josephs last name was.

They sat there silent thinking, then a little boy raised his hand.

Yes the teacher said what do you think it is.

It's Christ.

Explain to me how you worked it out.

Well His name is Jesus Christ, and His Mom is Mary and his Dad is Joseph, as they are his mom and dad then there last name has to be Christ as well.

During a census in Bethlehem they asked Joseph his name and occupation.

Joseph Carpenter, Hmm can't spell that so you will be Joseph Board banger.

Asking Mary her name and who her spouse is and what he does.

Mary wife of joseph banger of broads

We didn't have the corner store with the sour pickles but I remember getting them from mason jars after my mother made them could hardly wait for them to pickle completely that's how desperate we were for them...
