“I’ll go with Crystal,” Nykelyn said. She had thought about it, and before she would confront Crystal, she needed to get to know her. Find out why the prince liked her and maybe gather some dirt on her.
Nykelyn walked into Octagon hall, clearly late and clearly not caring. She made a grand entrance wearing a much too over-the-top dresshttps://ae01.alicdn.com/kf/Hcd548c14d...
Nykelyn was angry at Crystal, and she knew dinner was coming up. She had to make an impression, and make it big. She decided to wear a gorgeous ball gown that many would say was far too much for lunch. https://i.pinimg.com/originals/20/32/...
Nykelyn had been strolling the halls that morning, when she heard some commotion coming from one of the dorms. She stopped to listen. There was talking. That meant there was more than one person in there... A deep voice... a man... a prince... Matteo!? At first she was confused, then she was furious. She could barely make out any of the words, but “you’re my favorite,” was one of them. That sent her over the edge. But she knew she couldn’t barge in, that would scare the prince off. She would deal with this girl later. Nykelyn looked up and read the door placement “Crystal, Dorm 15” she stormed away, muttering “Crystal” under her breath as she went.
“Yeah, I suppose. I just hope I didn’t scare them away from our family,” Then Alex realized he was probably making his father nervous, “It wasn’t that bad,” He assured him.
((Haha okay sorry))“I don’t know. I suppose I’ll be ready when my time comes for my Selection. I’m just glad THIS isn’t my selection, I’m pretty sure I’ve already messed things up with some of the girls...” Alex’s voice trailed, but he brought it back. “It doesn’t matter though, this is Matteo’s Selection.”
“No, nothing’s wrong. Just don’t want to be out there with everyone else, I guess. Not really my thing, you know?” Alex said, giving the book one last glance then turning towards his brother. He felt exorbitantly younger than he was, but couldn’t seem to help it.
