Nykelyn scrambled to think of a flower name, but didn’t make it visible. Finally, one popped into her head, “I like roses.” She said, “Especially when they’re picked for me by a prince,” she said, hinting to Matteo and batting her eyelashes.

“You as well, Prince Matteo,” She said, winking, and looking away in mock shyness. She knew how to woo a prince. Every move she made was deliberate.

“I believe you’re right,” Nykelyn said, with a flirtatious blush and subtle giggle.

Nykelyn stood up and something, no, someone caught her eye. It was a boy... it was the prince! Prince Matteo could have been standing there all along, how hadn’t she noticed? She jumped at the opportunity and walked casually towards the prince, acting like she didn’t know he was there and waiting for him to notice her. She twirled a strand of her hair around her finger, acting amused by the flowers.
