I couldn't find a beer garden so we just danced all night and I didn't come home till it was getting light! Ha ha not done that for a while - too much working going on! Had about 3 hours sleep and now going for sunday lunch with my bro's - I think I'm trying to pack everything into a very short space of time cos of my hols getting cancelled ;)

Yeah me too - have heard such good things about Steinbeck. I'd suggest a readalong guys but I'm always starting them and not finishing - still need to get back to Dante, Musil Dickens...

How nice has it been today? I've just finished work but am off now to find a nice beer garden to sit in and have a few pints cos am off for the next 2 days (until my boss cancels them... again). Have a good one guys ;)

I'm almost done with The Redbreast which I'm really emjoying - will defo be reading the rest of this series at some point! Also started S. by J.J. Abrams (yes the star trek guy) and Doug Dorst which is really intriguing. And still chipping away at the Zola but am reading that on my lunchbreaks so going slowly but surely on that one ;)

I'm relaxing with a cuppa and some chocolate cos it's been pure carnage in my shop today - queue out the door all day again and then the dishwasher broke so had to handwash everything and not enough staff to go round - but on the up side... only 3 more days till the kids go back to school yay!

I'm reading Jo Nesbo's The Redbreast - don't usually read a lot of crime/thriller type stuff but am enjoying it so far.

I'm still stuck at about 20% - not because of the book just work and stuff - hoping to catch up soon!

It doesn't feel right does it?? Hopefully a couple of days off will help Lee - and my recommendation for feeling old and decrepit is a raspberry mojito (or two) - you will be feeling loads better in no time ;)

Hope you're feeling better soon Lee! The Musil book is pretty humongous - I just take my kindle to work as I've broken a few bags carting heavy books around in the past. Take it easy ;)

Angela - how is the bug battle going?

Oh dear Anna - that sounds pretty scary! Luckily I was in nice safe car park in broad daylight and had my kindle with me so it was all good. Ha ha it was better my today's drama which was me dropping two tills on the floor when I was opening the shop up and having to figure out what had been in which till! Kinda funny now but I defo need my few days off next week - am gonna do loads of baking then sit in the garden and read :)
