107978 Is it this one?
Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy, #1) by Richelle Mead
107978 Do you have a link to that book, Polionaluke?
Or the author's name?
What is it about?

107978 Will do!

107978 Yes, "Time keeps on ticking ticking ticking, into the future." (As Steve Miller so aptly says.) I'm just about giving up on the idea of having paperbacks on hand by the release day. :-( Going to format what I have and try to have a proof ready so I can just upload the edited file and maybe expedite it... If it's not too expensive.

You can either post or message me your kindle email, if that is your preferred device. Be sure to put info@kristicramerbooks.com as an approved sender.

The editor just started yesterday, so I don't know yet how fast she'll go. I'll message you when I have some kind of a date.

Thanks again. :-)

107978 Thanks, Charlene.
It is at the editor now, so I will be needing beta readers soon. I'm assuming you're still interested in being a beta for me? Do you think you'd be able to turn it around pretty quickly?

This is a new editor for me, and I'm not sure how long she will be, but she assured me she could have it back in time for me to do my thing and get it released by Valentine's - I hope she's accounting for time for beta readers... Yikes, just talking about it makes me nervous for the timeline!

I won't release it until it is as close to error free as I can make it, but I'm really hoping for the Valentine's release.

107978 Drumroll, please!

Please put your hands together for Designs by Dana, who created this great cover for...
Last Second Chance (Boys of Syracuse, Kansas, #2) by Kristi Cramer
Last Second Chance, Book 2 of the Boys of Syracuse, Kansas series.

(Don't forget to add it to your To Read List!)

Dana captured the essence of the brooding hero perfectly.

Last Second Chance is due out on Valentine's Day, so check back often for future posts about pre-orders.

If you haven't read Book 1 yet, now is the time to get yours. You don't need to read Book 1 in order to *get* Book 2, but some characters do recur. Get your copy of Last Shot at Justice (Book 1) for 99¢ at Amazon
Last Shot at Justice on Amazon

The Boys of Syracuse, Kansas is a series of standalone suspense novels (each full-length novels) featuring characters connected to the town of Syracuse, Kansas. They have romantic elements, but the stories are character driven, exploring how people deal with dangerous situations.

107978 Sounds like a peach. Or wait, what would they say in Memphis?

Thanks for the heads up!

107978 I hope all my friends here at The Suspense of it All have a great Christmas and may 2015 see all your reading and writing dreams come true.

May your plots be thick, your reading and/or writing time be plentiful and guilt free, and the suspense keep you on the edge of your seat.

Blessings and Merry Christmas!

107978 Thanks! I think I've got everything in order. It is actually available on B&N and ARe already, as well as on my website.

I finished Last Second Chance on Saturday, and my first 'alpha reader' (the one I asked to tell me if the story is even worth telling) enjoyed it so much he played hookie from work to finish it. Now it just needs editing, then betas...although I may reverse that order if I can't find a new editor toot suite.

I'm excited! I don't know what I was thinking, applying for (and getting) a Christmas job with the Post Office....
107978 Looks intriguing, Khaled. Thanks for sharing.

107978 I might just hit you up for that. :-)

107978 After rereading your review, I do need to mention, though, that Last Second Chance is very different from Last Shot at Justice. It is much more of a Romance, and features two different main characters. Blue and Mitzi appear in cameos, and there is still suspense, but not so much mystery. (Still no graphic gore or sex.)

Book 3 will be paced more like Book 1, but I don't have more than an outline of it.

I do think that those who enjoyed Book 1 will also enjoy Book 2.

107978 Thanks, Charlene.
I'm aiming for right before Christmas. The story is written, and about one scene away from being complete. And then, of course, comes editing, betas, etc. Just got to knuckle down and get it done!

107978 Blinding Justice is being re-released as Last Shot at Justice, celebrating the launch of the series The Boys of Syracuse, Kansas. Last Shot at Justice will be released November 21st. If you haven't read Blinding Justice, now is the time to order your copy of this edge of your seat suspense with a dash of romance!

(There are only minor changes to the story, so if you read Blinding Justice, you won't need to buy Last Shot at Justice - unless you want to support the new cover, and get a sneak peek at Book 2, Last Second Chance, of course.)

I added a link to your book here. (I also moved it to the promotions discussion - which is a little better placement.)
Thanks for letting us know about it.

107978 It should just be at the bottom of the group home page. Or if you are in this discussion, look at the menu on the right and click on bookshelf. At least that is how it looks on my laptop. Not sure what it would look like on a phone....
