Mason blinked and looked up. That was odd. He stood up and peeked out the window to see a girl leaning against a tree, but nothing else. He paced over to the door, swinging it open quickly but gently. The sky was dark and he couldn't 't hear anything in the far distance because lighting isn't a sound, thunder is. His long black hair was down for once, and he glared at the little girl under the tree. He stepped out of the house and began trekking towards the area those so-called "villains" were hiding out. He was sure that this was their doing.

{{hey maybe could you keep that all to one post??}}

{{on the ground outside the house, right??}}

{{where?? this is literally a haunted house (or at least everyone else thinks it is) why would Skylar be here?? how'd she sit down if she never got in??}}

"Can I uncover my ears?" Max squeaked.

Max zapped over to the wall, perching there with a grin on his face. "This!"

Max watched the two, beaming. He poked his tongue through the gap in his teeth absentmindedly.

Max grins back and adjusts the strap of his backpack. "You seem nice. Why are you doing this whole "fight the MAPA" thing?"
Nekojin-obsessed Noodle wrote: "Skye smiles. "I'm gonna take that as a yes." She says quickly. She turns to Max and grins."Max nodded, pushing his hair out of his face.
Thomas wrote: "Zack looked at Max. "You believe we're evil yet?"""Nope. You want to kill me because you're angry at me. That's a reason. A bad one, but still a reason."
Thomas wrote: "Zack looked at Skye. "No. You need to stop making me angry. Or else I might LET the other me kill you.""Max smiled broadly, like a little kid on Christmas. "You can try, but I doubt you'd succeed!" he exclaimed completely innocently.

"Don't- don't attack me!" Max stammered defiantly, clutching his hands to his chest.

Max covered his ears, wincing. His knees shook at the loud sound.

Max flinched and stepped away.

"You'll what‽" Fear flickered across Max's face but was soon replaced with a forced smile. "I don't know if you want to do that. I know exactly how to tear this whole rickety building down on top of you before you can even move," he babbles, only partially bluffing. He did know how to bring the building down, but he wasn't sure he would be fast enough. It depended on what weapons this guy was using.
He sighed as he remembered Vicki's warning. "I just know you're going to get yourself into bad situations because you're dumb a(oh) is too sweet to have the proper amount of self-preservation. So when you do, don't panic. Panic isn't impressive."
