Carson halfheartedly covered an ear but glanced at Regan. "Please don't yell," the wheezed, coughing before continuing. "What's the news?"

"Dafuq-" Cupid slurred after chugging the rest of his water. "Why?"

Cupid sipped from the water bottle Kea had given him. After drinking most of it he poured some into the cap and touched its rim, shrinking down to the size of an ant. He dove into the bottle cap and splashed some on his face to cool off, then returned to normal size.

"Um-" he swallowed and took a huge breath. "Yeah definitely," he agreed, stepping off of the dummy to lean against the wall. "I have absolutely zero endurance-"

Cupid darted behind a dummy placing his hands firmly on its shoulders before shrinking down and scaling its head. Here goes- he thought, growing to about twice his usual size and toppling the dummy. As it fell forward he leaned on his heels and clutched the stand that it was on, pulling it up and squashing its head by tilting forwards. His head bumped the ceiling and he shrank again, panting from the exertion of doubling his size. He wiped the sweat off his brow and leaned against the upside-down dummy.

Cupid returned, now devoid of a limp.

Carson nodded slowly. Livia's demeanour didn't help the 'harmlessness' aspect, but they didn't want to argue with these freaks.

Nicholas also could not stop smiling. "I- I can't stop smilin'" he breathed because he didn't know what else to say.

Carson vibes quietly because that was the most they'd said all day and they were out of words.

Carson, who had been vibing in the corner and empathizing with Daegon, finally spoke up. "It should be someone with a delicate appearance. People are less threatened by and suspicious of petite women especially." They cleared their throat. "It's sexist, yeah, but it's the unfortunate truth. We can use it to our advantage."

Nicholas's smile widened and his eyebrows furrowed as his gaze darted around the room. He made a little noise that could be likened to what one would imagine an iguana's scream sounds like, but shorter and happier.
