I read The Creak on the Stairs by Eva Björg
Ægisdóttir. (I’m excited, just found out how to type letters other than English on my keyboard!)
Good overall, was a bit upset at the ending, but lots of twists made it interesting. My review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Book: The Bone Curse by Carrie Rubin
An interesting ride into the world of Haitian Vodou, might rank it as more thriller than actual horror though.

Read The Revelator by Daryl Gregory
An interesting supernatural tale with some good creep value, along with some lessons on the hazards of those misguided folks trying to use a religion for personal gain. My review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Word: Strange
Book: The Perfect Stranger by Megan Miranda
A perfectly twisty trip down memory lane for the main character, and nothing is as it seems. My review:

Word - Breath
Book - Her Last Breath by Hilary Davidson
A good twisty thriller, told from two perspectives; the main character and the main suspect. Money, greed, status (or lack of it), lies, and toxic family relationships. It’s got it all.

Finished Preludes & Nocturnes by Neil Gaiman, a graphic novel.
New to this genre, but was satisfied with a good story. May get around to some of the other books in the series, when my TBR list gets shorter. Hopefully in this lifetime. ;)

Tried a silly looking book called Zeus Is Dead: A Monstrously Inconvenient Adventure by Michael G. Munz.
Was not as impressed as hoped, but not a total waste of time. See my review here: https://www.goodreads.com/review/edit...

Word - Rise
Book - Everything That Rises Must Converge: Stories by Flannery O’Connor
This author was recommended to me by another author, and it was an interesting experience. Let me just say that if you are not able to get past being offended by racial epithets, don’t go here. But if you can read it with a perspective on the time it was written, it was interesting. See my review here:

Read The Song of Achillesby Madeline Miller.
In this version of the saga of Achilles and Patroclus, they are lovers instead of cousins as depicted in the movie "Troy". The writing was superb, and Greek tragedy aspect was moving. Enjoyed it immensely!
