Reading “Crimson Shore”, by Preston & Child. #15 in the Pendergast series, but a first for me. Pretty good so far, more review to come. (Red cover too.) 😉

Might try a historical mystery. Have been wanting to read “The Huntress”, for awhile, but may have pick something from my overflowing bookshelves. We’ll see...

Another suggestion for a red cover book...

I was almost tempted to go back an skim those chapters in order, just to see if it made sense. But too many more books to read!

What did you think ..."I liked it. The reverse timeline for the two weeks after the beginning but before the end was definitely a switch, never had the details revealed in that fashion before. Enough twists to keep it unpredictable. Good writing!
Just finished this one last night (Okay, about 1:00 am this morning.) Challenge complete! Now onto my Motif challenge!

A few- The Red Hunter by Lisa Unger, or Crazy Love You, same author. Red Mist, by Patricia Cornwell. Many options under Girls, try doing a search through your TBR list using the key words.

Just finished this month’s keyword challenge, “Hello, Darkness” by Sandra Brown. Great mystery/thriller! See my review under the book details. Another author to add to my TBR list!

Challenge complete! Read “In the Bleak Midwinter” by Julia Spencer Fleming. Good mystery, enough action, red herrings and character depth to keep me up at night! Looking forward to the next one. (Note, accidentally posted to wrong challenge initially.) Keyword challenge book next!

Oops, this should have been under the other challenge, for monthly topic, not key word!

Challenge complete! Very much enjoyed “In the Bleak Midwinter “, by Julia Spencer Fleming. Good mystery, and enough action and red herrings to keep me reading way past reasonable hours again.

Picked this one for the title, but the reviews are good so looking forward to sampling yet another new author in my favorite genre.
In the Bleak MidwinterHave not read this author, but looks like it fills the category, and is in the genre I favor.
