May Agatha V..."
Voting through August is actually perfect for me! The mail service here sucks as it is and with the Corona situation they've become even more sluggish

Honestly though, thank you so much Shannon for taking it upon yourself to organise this group's discussions and schedules!

Again sorry for being late to the discussion :(
#1 Not really, only the Willets turned out to be less suspicious than I gave them credit for :P
#2 I did suspect the Major but having read a Christie book where the victim's close confidant turned out to be an accomplice only last month, I subconsciously put the thought out of my mind
#3 I liked her even more towards the end and wish her character appeared in more books
Can't wait for March's read!! Hopefully I'll join the discussions on time this month. I couldn't acquire a physical copy for this month either so I'll have to stick with the electronic one again, but I already secured April's read so there's that :D

#1: I'd like spending some days at Sittaford but wouldn't want to live there long-term, I much prefer the cozy village atmosphere of Exhampton
#2 So far I quite like Emily. I can't tell yet if I'd like to have seen more of her in other Christie books because I feel like I haven't got to know her that well yet
#3 There's definitely something up with her renting Sittaford. I think it's mostly got to do with her daughter Violet
#4 So far I haven't come up with any solid theory, my suspicions are all over the place but none of them are that strong. We'll wait and see I guess
Being so late, I'm not sure my vote counts anymore :P But for what it's worth I'm voting for Sparkling Cyanide

Yes I loved Emily! I didn't know bbc had a Sittaford mi..."
I think they featured it in an episode of the Miss Marple series

Hoping everyone enjoy's The Sittaford Mystery. We will discuss chapters 1-16 next Saturday!
Will everyone be able to get it done by then? Will you go past that and finish it to find..."
I'm for Sparkling Cyanide!

2- I thought it a possibility but at one point I also suspected her of having faked it
3- I was hysterical with laughter when I read the part where Mr Inglethorp was exposed because I totally fell for Christie's ploy (yet again) xD
4- I did strongly suspect Miss Howard but in no why saw the Inglethorp reveal coming
I really enjoyed reading this with you guys! Can't wait for the next one :D

Personally, I prefer the longer reading periods as it is much less pressure and therefore a more enjoyable reading experience. The schedule is perfect as it is

2-I think they are all going to be important at the end,but point 4 called my atentio..."
Point 4 stood out to me too! Imagine if after all the fuss it ends up being something relatively trivial xD

Yeah there might be more to the coffee cup than just the murder trying to destroy the poison evidence

2- I think all are of equal importance but I'm inclined to feel that 2&4 are a teeny bit extra special
3- I agree with Poirot in that he's innocent of the murder but there's something else up with him
4- Nothing definite, all of them are quite shady. Something's definitely up with Cynthia "The sound sleeper" and I have a hunch that the husband and wife Mrs Inglethorp was talking about are John and Mary, not Alfred and herself. Bauerstein is somehow involved and Miss Howard is a bit too loud and honest for my taste. But like Shannon said, Agatha Christie will sure find a way to smash all our theories to little pieces sooner or later. I have learned my lesson and now try not to think too seriously about it and just watch as things unfold :P

I got my copy a couple of days ago so I'm all set either way
