Jeremy’s comments from the Wings of Fire - An Active Roleplaying Group group.

As he charged he knew he might die. Phoenix...Forgive this reckless fool. He thought as he battled for his life. "For my family! For my friends! For Phoenix! FOR PYRIAH!!!!" he roared.

(Right let's do this) Mavi at this point was bloody and beaten as he guarded queen Opal with his life. He could barely stand but he wouldn't fall. "The...queen...must...live..." he said coughing up blood. He gave a glare and a smile. "that's all? No....BRING IT ON!!!!" he yelled charging into the mass of soldier with a roar as he yelled "FOR PYRIAH!!!!!" as his battle cry.

(BTW the entire time that happened Mavi just kinda...stood there and when Koi left mavi was just like "0_o.....Ok." )

Mavi last minute broke free and gave a mighty breath of fire. "Th-That was close he said. "Queen Opal!!" Mavi shouted as he began to guard her as fiercely as he could but he was running out of steam. "M'lady this may be a loosing battle. Our number are fading fast, and most of us are starting to run on empty...but I'm not gonna let you die." He said as he stook close to the queen. "For Pyriah...." he said as he began to be a lot more like a "human" shield" for the queen taking the brunt of the damage.

(You there?) Mavi began to try and fly up but then the shock began to set in. No..Not now. he thought.

(Morning) Mavi slowly began to be cornered as Aster fought off plenty of foes being unable to reach his sun.

(night) Mavi flew up higher and higher till he couldn't then the spinning free fall, he began to breath his blue flames as he came crashing down. Aster watched as he breathed frost breath flash feezing his foes. When mavi was about to hit the ground he flew up and did this on repeat until he then thought. Now STRIKE!!! he hit the ground in a giant explosion of blue as he roared once more.

Mavi is trying his best not to go into shock.

Aster gave a demonic roar as his Icescales began to freeze the battle ground somewhat.

mavi took a breath. "ALL UNITS!!!" he yelled. "CHAAAAAAAARGE!!!!" he yelled as he gave a hellish roar using what he learned to great effect. Altough Mavi seemed to be dogging more then fighting.

Mavi nods and armors up.

Mavi focused on Meelee based attacks mainly claw swipes and tail strikes as that is what his father knew best. "Phoenix." Aster said with a firm yet gentle tone. "You must teach him how to control his fire. I rarely use my frost breath so I cannot teach him...would you kindly teach him in my stead?" He ask.

"Opal." Aster said with a respectful bow.

Aster laughed. "I am not training he to rule my precious bird." He smiled as he said. "I am training him to lead."

"Move like the water-" Aster said before Mavi said "Not like ice..right?" Aster simply nodded. But they both stopped. "It's time." Mavi said as he tried to focus.

"Phoenix...come...we have much to teach the young leader." he said as he walked over to Mavi.

(right I get those two mixed up a lot.) Mavi returned however he did solo training. "Focus...." he said as Aster nodded. "Then..." Mavi's eyes flashed open as he cuts a dummy into pieces as he yells "STRIKE!!" Aster nods once more. "Very good my son...very good." he said with a smile.

"One does not need to shed blood...or bite my tail...to win...one simply needs to look...beyond the battle ground." He said as he hit the pressure point in the back and made Phoenix legs work once more.

Aster hit one pressure point, the right back leg, and made it numb. Then he hit another pressure point, the left back leg and made it numb. then he simply bowed his head.

Mavi begins his training but just...stops....with tears in his eyes. "I-I can't...."

"Can't fight?....or are you afraid that loosing cold will be like loosing your mother." Aster said as Mavi looked up scared.

"I...I promised I wouldn't fail them...I...I-"

"Mavi." Aster said strong and frim like a soldier. "Loss is a part of life. Yes I cried when I lost Storm but I knew her life would end one day." he gently lifts Mavi's chin. "You kept your promise...but now it's time to let go...let go of your hate, your sadness, your fear...and let inner peace flow through you like a ripple in a pond." Aster said looking into his sons eyes and gently closing them. "What do you hear?" he ask.

Mavi listened closely. "...Leaves....the wind...the others training...my own heart beat and yours."

"Good. Good." Aster said letting go of his son's chin. "Focus on that. Make it what you wish to protect. Then......STRIKE!!!" He roared. Suddenly Mavi whipped his tail around cutting the dumbby in to pieces. His father simply nodded. "Very good now again focus....then.....STRIKE!!!" He roared as this repeated through the day leaving Mavi feeling like he could move on.

(For those wondering Mavi and Aster trained after Mavi left. Aster went after him a taught him Master Oogway style.)

Aster looked at his son worried for him.

"I-I'm going out to clear my head...today has been...intereasting...but I fear I may not be able to sleep." Before anyone could appose him Mavi left.

"My son....please be okay." Aster said as a tear fell from his eye.
