Have you ever wanted to be a part of the magical universe of the Harry Potter books? Well, here’s your chance! You can make your very own character to wander around Hogwarts and Hogsmeade as a student, or perhaps you would rather have an adult character who can roam the streets of Diagon Alley or Knockturn Alley? You choose which house and year your character is in or what profession they have. Maybe they’re a first year? Or perhaps they own a shop in Diagon Alley? Just go to the topic “Make Your Character Here!” and post your character sheet. Then wait for a mod to approve your character before playing. Once you’re approved, you’re ready to start playing! Remember to check the topic “Rules” and “summary” before you start! The time of the roleplay is 2013. Voldemort was defeated by Harry Potter 15 years ago and a new generation is now attending Hogwarts. The "laws" of this roleplay are the same as the Harry Potter universe, and we go by this website when in doubt: http://harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page (They also have a decent spell list.) These creatures have human bodies, but their souls originate from a parallel realm known as the Otherworld. Mist Haven is built around a convergence of ley lines and telluric currents that cause strange and anomalous phenomena to occur, mainly the formation of a portal to the Otherworld and the perpetual gloomy weather. Now, denizens of the Otherworld and the local kindred seek to claim the portal as their own. If that wasn't enough, hunters have come to town, looking to purge it of its magical inhabitants.
