The Power of Three is inherited, and Henry jr has become a hunter to aid in his relatives' quest to keep San Francisco safe from evil. The Underworld is active again, as a mysterious, yet familiar, force of darkness rises to power, weaving spells and magic the likes that have never been seen before. The magical community is not quick to trust the next-gen witches, fearing the Power of Three, as it is believed to have become too strong for the children to handle, a bomb waiting to go off.
