[close] Learning science is a multidisciplinary field, drawing from decades of research and practice in areas like cognitive psychology, neuroscience, education, computer science, and linguistics; this rich history has left us with a body of evidence to support adult learning at scale. Unfortunately, the Learning & Development practice has historically been a matter of accumulated folk wisdom instead of being built on a foundation of meticulously researched evidence. The books we'll discuss in this group are meant to help bridge the gap between the empirical research and the L&D practice. If you're interested in the science of learning, please join this group!

[close] (Better descpription in topic of actual group) The academy established by Dagger Merlin is the the best known for producing the finest fighters and magic users the world has ever seen. All students are put into classes based on their abilities or lack of and partnered up. These four classes are Ninja, Weapons, Familiar, and Exchange. Students attend classes to learn about important skills needed in combat for their speciafic class as well as general knowledge. There is no set age limits as when one can begin at the academy and when one can graduate. If you are able to pass a certain number of tests and your teachers deam you ready to try, you can challenge the ultimate test and if you survive you graduate...simple right...? (This roleplay is based off an anime fanfic that I've had stuck in my head for awhile and will be writing at the same time inside the group)
