[close] A group dedicated to achieving your dreams. We support each other, give helpful advice and encouragement and compare paths to success. Come join! The name of the group is based on the Chinese phrase for imagination is "想象." Literally, 想 means "to think" and 象 means "elephant". The direct translation is "To Think of Elephants." Thus, the name of the group. "To Think of Elephants" means, to me, to dream the impossible dream, and to achieve it. That is, after all, imagination.

In the shadow of the 20th Century, certain thinkers still loom large, while new writers and new movements continue to develop before our eyes. From biopower to speculative realism, Agamben to Zizek, this group is dedicated to all things current. Professors, students, philosophers, and the everyday inquisitive are all welcome to join and discuss what is happening at the vanguard of philosophical thought.
