Credo che per "entrare" nei luoghi il giornalista debba ascoltare la strada, cioè le voci deboli distanti dai riflettori dei media. Per farlo bene, deve accettare alcune regole di comportamento. Primo: sparire, mescolandosi alla gente se possibile fingendosi di non essere giornalista. Secondo: condividere, cioè dare qualcosa di suo - anche un semplice racconto - per trasformare l'intervista in un rapporto di scambio.
