Hi, I made this group to gather humans who want to talk about what they’re reading, what they meant to read, and what’s currently judging them from their bookshelf. I’ve been a reader pretty much forever; then life happened, attention spans vanished, and I disappeared into a long, dramatic reading slump. Plot twist: it wasn’t cured immediately because I fell into non-fiction (you know, the “I’m improving myself” era). Fast-forward to last year: I finally crawled back into fiction, starting series from page one like a responsible adult who is very late to the party, and now I'm aggressively catching up. So yes, I’m behind. Yes, I’m making up for lost time. And if that sounds painfully relatable, congratulations-------you belong here. This group is for talking about all kinds of books under the sun: fiction, non-fiction, guilty pleasures, overhyped disappointments, life-changing reads, and “why did I even finish this?” moments. No gatekeeping. No judgment. No pretentious literary flexing. Just honest thoughts and occasional chaos. Bonus level: if you’re into actually connecting with real humans, wild concept, I know- I’m very open to weekend video calls across time zones, book chats, random life updates, or just vibing over shared love for stories.
