[close] Often times good books go undiscovered because they are not shared. I've created this book club for anyone who likes to read books on various business topics. We can share, recommend, discuss ideas written in various Business literature in a respectful and open space for dialogue.

[close] In addition to being a Toastmasters Club, we are also a book club. Each month we discuss a book that one of our members has suggested. The presentation of the book review and a facilitated discussion about the book (our version of Table Topics) comprises the first part of the meeting. During the second half of the meeting members are encouraged to give Pathways Speeches that are either related to the book of the month or not. Of course, all speeches will be evaluated during the evaluation portion of the meeting. Here we have the opportunity to ask questions and have further discussion directly with the author.

[close] Each month a theme will be set with a suggested book for each age group (adult, young adult, 8-12 years, young children). You do not have to stick to your age group, it's just to provide a little something for everyone. Some months adult themes may be included, there will be a warning given prior if this is the case. If you add a book to the tbr please let a moderator know the key themes, genres and age range that it falls under.
