[close] Whether a villain, an anti-hero or bat-shit crazy, sociopaths in literature have been some of the most unforgettable and iconic characters. In this book club we will be peeling the multi-layered characters and enjoying the violent, erratic behavior they are known and loved for. Normal is vastly overrated. Guidelines: One book will be picked each month. Genre may vary (though statistically speaking most picks will end up being from the horror/thriller genre) The book must have the main character be a sociopath or just have a very prevalent presence. If there's a film I'll be watching and I will discuss. Only talk about spoilers in the designated spoiler area. The worst thing that can happen to a reader is them finding out the sociopath didn't win (or did he?). Lastly, I am not here to encourage readers to imitate fictional character's behavior. Do not try this at home. We are looking at dangerous characters in the safety of literature. Unless you're a psychologist or studying it, don't go searching or becoming Hannibal. You are dismissed.
