No Romance

[close] For my fellow aros who struggle with finding good books without any romance or relationship drama in it!! I've noticed there aren't any specifically aromantic groups on here so I hope to get a little group here to promote reading books that either don't have romance or have an explicitly aro character. I would love to turn this into a book club of sorts so we could have a single book with no romance in it that we all read together and discuss it like a normal club! (We could also talk about how great the book is despite the lack of romance) Also a note: I'm very new to this whole group thing so if you want to give me some ideas and point out any mistakes I'm making, please do so! I really could use the feedback, and I'm going to try to promote this group like crazy!!

[close] The Free-for-All Book Club is a budget friendly book club that meets on the **3rd** Wednesday evening of each month (starting Feb 2013). Budget friendly because we try to make sure that it doesn't cost members more than time to participate and not much more to host. So that means we won't plan to meet anywhere that costs money and that the books we choose will be readily available at libraries, etc. We will try to read current fiction and/or best sellers that we missed when they first came out or whatever the group decides (free for all). [close] We enjoy a variety of genres but are prudent in our selections. We don't want to see a lot of "f-bombs", graphic sex or violence. Yet we sometimes find Christian Literature to be boring. This group is for all ages, so comments should reflect that sensibility.
