[close] Welcome to the world of divergent. Our society is based on the glorious makeup of five unique factions, each with its own purpose in the life of each and every one of you. Every member must choose their faction when they are sixteen and go through intense training to make it into full member status of your chosen faction. Are you Dauntless, the brave? Abnegation, the selfless? Erudite, the intelligent? Candor, the honest? or Amity, the peaceful? Remember: choose the faction where you truly believe you belong, not where you wish you belonged. (You do not have to read the books to join)

[close] FACTION, non-fiction novel is a literary genre which, broadly speaking, depicts real historical figures and actual events woven together with fictitious conversations and using the storytelling techniques of fiction. In modern literature, it is commonly thought [1] that this genre was formally established with the 1965 publication of Truman Capote's In Cold Blood. Other novels such as the Edelweiss Pirates novels are included, where the author has taken facts from survivors and added them together with fictional characters to make an entertaining historical series. Or think of; A senator's car veers off a dark road and plunges into black water. The senator escapes; a young woman drowns. Truth or fiction? Black Water by Joyce Carol Oates. but Mary Jo Kopechne was killed after Ted Kennedy drove his car off a bridge with her inside and she drowned!
