[close] I am creating this group for the crazy people like me. Whenever I am reading, I want to write something about it... But i don't want it to be read by anyone. So I have decided to make a group where I can write whatever I am thinking while reading. And if you just like me, please join this group. Here No one have to think about reviews, percentage or pages he/she is reading. Just read, and write whatever you like to write. Don't wait for someones reply or question, just be mad and write. No one will judge you, No one will correct your grammar. Just One request: Don't ever Spoil any book and Don't spam. Please.

[close] Looking for people who are interested in deep, intellectual, but meaningful reads. This may come across as a rather inclusive (or exclusive, depending on who you are) definition, so I'll elaborate a little further. The books talked about here need to be once that speak to the ocean of humanity, as well as the ocean within us. They should be insightful and boat-rocking. This does not necessarily mean literary fiction (just because it's won a Pulitzer doesn't mean it belongs here). It doesn't mean genre either (I love Game of Thrones, but I wouldn't include it here), but it could be either of those. The classics apply: Conrad, Hemingway and other authors such as these. The books in between can also be discussed. Is Midnight's Children such a book? I'd say no. Disagree? Discuss. Is Waiting for the Barbarians such a book? I'd say yes. For anyone who has different ideas, or believes that a book that wasn't included doesn't count, then please explain why a certain book moved you, and is able to rock the boat of society... (note, if it only moves you and doesn't reach out to the global, ie outside you, it doesn't belong here). I am trying to find out if there are more contemporary books that fit this bill, or perhaps older ones that are overlooked. Join and discuss.
