[close] The 2014 Reading Olympics, a book-driven competition which is sponsored by The Page Turners Group, has officially begun! Athletes have branched out into a series of teams or "countries" that will battle head-to-head for gold, silver, and bronze medals in a multitude of sports. Even though the Games have already started, teams are always in need of additional athletes! Any members who would like to join the Narnian team need only request to join this group. [close] This a 64-short-story tournament in a knock-out format to be 'played' during the summer of 2016. 64 nations are represented by one eligible self-published/indie author, either through birth or citizenship. The goal is fourfold: 1) Shine a light on independent authors, allowing quality products to progress and create more buzz. 2) Introduce new authors to readers across a range of themes 3) Reward some authors who are struggling for reviews/ratings 4) Have some fun!
