[close] To celebrate Banned Books Week (Sept. 30 -Oct.6th) I wanted to start a group where we read books on the Banned Book list! This is to celebrate our right to read what we want! All information in the group page comes from ala.org and bannedbooksweek.org, I do not own any of the information!

[close] Have you ever wondered why certain books were banned from a school or a public library? Have you ever reviewed the list, and laughed about some of the titles on the list? Do you support banned book week?This group is for you. Here we read a new book every month, and discuss why it was banned, and provide reviews of books. Invite your friends! The more the merrier. Come along the journey of the banned book society.

[close] Banned Literary Dept. is a monthly book club hosted by Briar Road, where we vote on and read thought-provoking, often challenged books that inspire curiosity, dialogue, and foster a diverse community of readers and new perspectives; bridging the worlds of fashion and literature. Through the Banned Literary Dept., we aim to foster a community that champions creative freedom, challenges convention, and advocates for positive change.
