Slightly

[close] Tootles is a Lost Boy who fell out of his pram and taken to Neverland by Peter Pan. He is described as being sneaky and believes he can remember more of what life was like before becoming “lost” and stretches the truth on what he remembers. Slightly is also illustrated to not be very good at imagining but is a talented musician. At the end of Peter Pan he makes a choice to become adopted by the Darling family.

There are many different spin-off stories involving Slightly and his origins. In Peter Pan in Scarlet , Slightly is grown up and a lord due to him marrying a noblewoman, though the book explains he became a widower at 30 and is the only Lost Boy without children. He flies back to Neverland, becoming young again, only to be tricked into growing while in Neverland. Slightly later finds his real mother and returns to London but remains eighteen years old. After being tricked into growing up in Neverland the Lost Boys begin referring to him as Slightly-More despite not being allowed to talk to him.

Peter and the Secret of Rundoon , which takes place before Peter Pan, Slightly was a boy from St. Norbert’s orphanage who used to be a slave for King Zarboff. Along with the other well-known Lost Boys he ends up going to Neverland with Peter.
