Nibs is a Lost Boy who fell out of his pram and taken to Neverland by Peter Pan. He is described as “happy and debonair, possibly the bravest Lost Boy”. At the end of
Peter Pan
he makes a choice to become adopted by the Darling family and grows up to work in an office.
There are many different spin-off stories involving Nibs and his origins. In Peter Pan in Scarlet , as an adult, he has the opportunity to go back to Neverland but becomes the only Lost Boy not to return as he couldn’t bear the thought of leaving his children. Due to the nature of the novel Nibs misses out on finding his real mother and learning about what happened before becoming a Lost Boy.
Peter and the Secret of Rundoon , which takes place before Peter Pan, Nibs was a boy from St. Norbert’s orphanage who used to be a slave for King Zarboff. Along with the other well-known Lost Boys he ends up going to Neverland with Peter.
