Ellen Yes: there is an important WLW relationship and themes of acceptance, rejection and otherness which tie to queerness.

When part one starts, it's describing Luc. Then the POV switches to a first-person...is this now Luc speaking?

Does this get any better and/or begin to make sense? I never give up on books but this one is such a chore! Loath to give up as I’ve enjoyed other books by her and have wanted to read this for ages!

I ordered this book on Amazon and something happened and it is not coming...so now I am debating if I reorder it. A few questions that might help me make up my mind: 1) Horror level? I am a huge horror fan so this is the number one concern for me. 2) Sounds like a female driven narrative, how strong these lovely ladies be? Will it engage my feminist freak flag? 3) What is the LGBT representation like?
