Can you see some pa…moreI had read Children of Time, Children of Ruin and Doors of Eden before reading this book, it was not relevant to the story at all. Can you see some parallels, yes absolutely. But its definitely not needed. You could read this before or after his other books. Book 2 on the other hand you will want to have read this one first. (less)
