Laura In this first book, yes. Ollie, one of the main characters, is described as having been born missing one leg and parts of her other limbs, as well as having been born without proprioception. She uses several different mechanical mobility devices throughout the novel.
Britannia An important note: "differently-abled" is considered to be an outdated and offensive term that is condescending in nature.
