They didn't love each…moreThey didn't actually end up together. I mean, yes, they did have sex, but it wasn't the start of a relationship between the two. They didn't love each other like that. If you reread the chapter at the end where she wakes up in the apartment you might see things you missed. Dannie mistook the strong feelings she felt at the beginning of the book in the vision for love. She thought that strange, unique, and weird feeling must be love for this guy, but it wasn't. It was in fact grief, which she had never ever dealt with before and therefore didn't recognize it when she had her vision dream. (less)

Not only would it not have fit, she described it in the "dream" and never mentioned what finger - implying the ring finger, replacing David's ring.
Also, why didn't Dannie mention anything when she SAW Bella's engagement ring? She didn't recognize the canary diamond ring?
Did you catch in chapter 12 how Dannie said she looked into David's "naked green eyes"- it was Aaron who had the green eyes. She read his eye color when she looked at his driver's license. David's are described as brown in the beginning of the book.
Editors should have caught that as well...(less)

Only in movies are people who are wracked with pain of capable of having a passionate kiss or intimate moment while being in love with someone else. If Aaron were so in love with Bella, he wouldn't have been kissing anyone else. It wasn't as if Bella had been ill and dying for years, he had only just proposed to her... This is one example of the many unbelievable scenarios, situations, dialogue in this absurd book. (less)
