I was more concerned how she portrayed Libby. If you swapped the genders over can you imagine a male lead character saying

"He looked at her, he didn't like the way she dressed. He just about resisted the urge to go over and adjust her clothes. And she was fat, he looked at her stomach wobble. And he didn't like her tattoos. He didn't like her mother. He didn't like that she'd already been married. But still, there was something there..."
