Authors will be more critical of other authors work as they'll spot things the average reader won't. We all like different things so might not agree on what someone recommends is good or bad regardless of whether the person is an author or not.

If you don't want to read what anyone recommends you don't have to no one is forcing you to.

You say you want honesty in reviews. Can you guarantee a member of the public won't rate all one authors work 5 stars because it's their favourite author or a friend even or vice versa rate them all low just because they hate the author?(less)

I read this and really loved it. It just kept moving along and was never boring or felt plotty. just was with the characters the whole time. can anyone recommend books on this level? that keep you glued to it like this one? thanks.

Did anyone else think it was out of character for Rachel (who doubted everyone around her) to suddenly at the end completely trust Ginger ? She even doubted the validity of GPS at the end when it brought her to Ginger’s hide out. The ending was very disappointing to me, felt rushed.

He has money and she seems to be cash poor. There were several things that didn’t click but it’s a thriller not great literature. (less)

Why about three quarters thru it seemed to lose it's way? I was engrossed in it till then & thought it would carry on with the same theme, but was disappointed along with the strange ending.
