Fan-fiction itself isn't what is being targeted at; the lack of realism within this book is being prodded and insulted-- get your facts right. I have no real "hate" for this book, but I do strongly feel that this particular book is glorifying and romanticizing abusive relationships. Anna Todd masked this love as if its something to desire. That's what people--like me--have a problem with.
And saying, "She is...a better writer than you will ever be" makes me me want to laugh. I think you're overestimating her talent. Read something that will enlighten you, not feed on your low-self esteem. (less)

Hardin keeps messing with Tessa's feelings and making her feel bad about herself, now I do consider it fine if this happens once, but the entire plot is drifted around it. All they do is a fight because he didn't tell her anything or did something stupid, she says she never wants to see him again, he apologises and the makeup and do dirty things.

I personally do not hate this book, even if someone might say that it is badly written I did enjoy it for the most time while reading it, I just get really fed up with it after a little while. (All the fighting)
