Only b/c I can't complain about this anywhere else... Just found out they made a TV show based on this series. Anyone else who's seen it miffed that Clayton doesn't have his southern accent?

Farren He doesn't sound much more southern in the book than in the show to me. Just says "darlin'" in both. So here is the thing. I've seen the Bitten TV Show and loved it... I'm just wondering how much it relates to the books. I'm afraid that I'll know everything that's going to happen and won't enjoy reading it. I'm kinda hoping that the books have a different storyline. So I guess my question is, how much does the tv show relate to the books and is it worth reading? Sorry, english isn't my native language ;)
