Yeah it's a great read and gives you real insight into the minds of some people

No, I disagree in some ways. Fifty shades trilogy is better in terms of sexiness especially if you read the fourth one titled Grey which is about Christian ...

I read all of them. christians point of view was better than the rest of fifty but it doesn't beat bared to you series! I loved and reread the crossfire series so many times, that I have lost track. I personally find bared to you much much better. I didnt have a cringe moment nor there was awkward dialog between them. when I read fifty its was just weird and what they talked about was dumb and how she didnt even have a computer and had a flip phone was so not realistic in our times now for a college student. I just didnt like anything about it.

omg really. I am going to give it a try since I am looking for a book to read. thanks for the suggestion.

@ Antonella, @Rubina: huge fan of the BDB here, highly recommend it. The characters are old-fashioned men's men, incredibly dreamy and don't sparkle.

Omg I love that series!!!!

The Sweet gum tree, Katherine Allred :)

My first historical romance was Hearts Aflame by Johanna Lindsey and I haven't looked back since!!

It's a beautiful day,no more rain
and no more cloud.
I know one girl ,one friend and one
smile.
Blue eyes,pink lips and beautiful
inside.
She is far but not so far because
there is little chat whenever it's
time.
So there is talk ,there is fun and
there is laugh )))))
She is one bird ,one angel and one
charm.
So there is sky ,there is beauty
and there is magic smile.
She walking through the
city,through street and through
crowd.
So there is road, there is car and
there is me ))))
Each one and everyone looking at
her,with amaze and with surprise.
They suppose,they believe and
yeah they god damn right))
She is princess with the beautiful
face and magnificent heart )
For her....
I am just boy from so far ,just
friend with crazy mind ))
I am so lucky so happy so inspired)
What a special words for someone
special ,with taste of love and
lovely life)

1. "Rebellion", Nora Roberts 4/5
2. "The Madonna of the Almonds", Marina Fioratto 4/5
3. "The Violinist of Venice", Alyssa Palombo 3,5/5
4. "Belgravia", Julian Fellowes 3,5/5
5. ..."
Excellent list!

If I may, give these ones a try if you're tired of trite silly romance.
- How to Be a Normal Person by TJ Klune. And Puddle Jumping by Amber L. Johnson.

If you like Cut & Run, you should try the two gentlemen of altona series!

If you read the comments, you'll find there are many suggestions on here that not only aren't 'steamy romance' novels, but don't fit into the romance genre at all, just have a look! :)

It often gets in the shadow of Pride and Prejudice, but it is masterpiece in itself, give it a try if you haven't yet, lovers!

I'm currently reading "Fangirl" :)"
Queen Margot is BRILLIANT! I love Dumas, and Queen Margot is so deliciously romantic and sexy. A few of my favorite romantic reads are:
Jeanette Winterson, The Passion: short enough for Valentine's Day, stunningly gorgeous.
José Saramago, The History of the Siege of Lisbon: a beautiful book about finding love in unexpected ways, with unexpected people
Andrés Neuman, Traveler of the Century: magic realism, intricate literary fiction, steamy sex scenes
A.S. Byatt, Possession: you'll never be able to think of the Victorians as staid again.
