Re-reading The Hellbound Heart from Clive Barker, inspiration for the film "Hellraiser". Barker's stuff in general is a good recommendation for queer narrative horror. Billy Martin (nee Poppy Z. Brite, he's since transitioned) is great, too.
Lost Souls
Exquisite Corpse
Drawing Blood
Frankenstein, or the Modern Prometheus! I could also recommend Taaqtumi: An Anthology of Arctic Horror Stories. I read that last year and the stories were chilling!

Trying to decide if that was a good or bad pun, but I am thinking it was not deliberate.

Could you please provide the title in addition to the link? I'd prefer to know where a link is taking me before I click on it. If you will, much appreciation.

The problem with Christmas is you have two groups diametrically opposed to each other1, Religious people who get upset when anything not religious is featured.
2. Secular types who get upset when anything religious is featured.
And then there are those like me, who are religious but don't mind the secular stuff (and vice versa I presume).
Hiweverm that being said I wouldn't mind seeing such a list, as long as it is an all time list not reduced to whatever is current. That I find boring.
Brad wrote: "I recommend The Troop by Nick Cutter. Has a very King-like vibe to it and some very disturbing narrative imagery."that book was nuts, i read it in january or february and it was the most disturbing book i ever read. That's a good thing by the way. I also highly recommend "The Shadows" by Alex North
The Twisted OnesThe Hollow PlacesSooo...I don't normally do horror, because sleep. I kinda need it. But The Twisted Ones and The Hollow Places by T. Kingfisher are excellent. Worth a sleepless night or two.
Molly wrote: "Does anyone have any recommendations for horror graphic novels? :)"The Infidel series by Pornsak Pichetshote is horror.
