Kim Lockhart Verge, by Lidia Yuknavitch, is the best short story collection I have ever read.

message 10: by Wanda (new)

Wanda Stepping Up One of the best short story collections I've read. Every story has its own unique world through characterizations, vivid descriptions, and wonderful storytelling. The common thread is the humanity woven in every tale. The choices DC's characters face are between fear or transformation. DC also takes on sexism, racism, and homophobia. Highly recommend this book.
