I have read 11 of the 20 books listed. Currently, I am reading, The Woman Who Talked to Spirits by Alys Clare. It is really good.
I'm finally reading A Gentleman in Moscow. I might have to take a short break from reading after I'm finished just to savor it.
Courtney wrote: "I just finished Good Omens. SO GOOD and really quite hilarious. TV show was great, too.Currently reading The Goldfinch. A masterpiece so far."
I'm also reading "The Goldfinch" by Donna Tartt and I'm enjoying it too. For non-fiction, I'm currently reading Brené Brown's "Dare To Lead", "The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success" by Deepak Chopra, and "Change Your Questions, Change Your Life" by Marilee Adams. All three are good and insightful reads so far!
P.S. I also watched the "Good Omens" TV show and loved it!
Ask again, yes by Mary Beth Keane, The Familiars by Stacey Hall and A Stranger City by Linda Grant. Three hardbacks with stunning covers and all different styles of writing. That’s my bank holiday sorted!
I'm listening to "A Negro Explorer at the North Pole" by Matthew Henson who went with Commander Peary on several expeditions. Did they make it to the actual location? It's still being debated, but this book is quite interesting and I like hearing this man's perspective. The narrator is good, but I don't know why an African American didn't narrate it first. I'm going around the world with books this summer and next up is "Islam and the Future of Tolerance" by Sam Harris and Maajid Nawaz.
The Walking Book Club is getting ready to start The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek in September. Anyone is welcome to join. In some ways this book is akin to Where the Crawdads Sing. Both authors weave interesting facts into story line. Nature for WTCS and history of Appalachia and blue people of Kentucky in Book Woman. We're wrapping up Small Great Things now.

I’m reading The Library Book by Susan Orlean. NF. The Los Angeles central library fire and the story of how libraries became icons of communities small and large.
I just finished Wish You Well by David Baldacci. I've been really interested in reading books by Kristin Hannah lately. Great author!
Right now I am currently reading and hope to finish soon The girl king by Mimi you, evvie Drake starts over and heart of mist book 1 of the oremire Chronicles trilogy. They are all pretty good and I hope to finish them soon.
I am currently reading Man’s Search for Meaning. It is a powerful story of a man who survives a concentration camp by continuing to think of his love and in seeing her soon.
Reading The Ghosts Of Eden Park, by Karen Abbott. A fascinating and surprising account of the prohibition era. Non-fiction that reads like a crime novel.
Currently re-reading the HP series and am about to start "Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince" as my main read.I'm also partway through #20 in L E Modesitt's "Recluce" series, "Outcasts of Order", as my "when I have a few minutes" book as I enjoyed it so much the first time around..

The Goldfinch. Perhaps the best book I will ever read.

Would also recommend The Sun Also Shines by Anthony Ray Hinton. One of the best books I read in a long time. Mr. Hinton was on Alabama’s death row for 30 years for a crime he did not commit!
Read Bernard Burgess's Burt and Norah's " The Nickel Dime Murders" and loved it, looking forward to more of his books. The coywolf really gave his story a different twist!
I found "The House of Broken Angels" by Luis Alberto Urrea to be a wonderful read. Who knew a story about a death in the family could be so entertaining? It's meaningful, cross-cultural, funny, observant, and told in Urrea's unique voice. Highly recommended.
Currently reading Texas Flood: The Inside Story of Stevie Ray Vaughan, the first definitive biography of the guitar legend.
