What's popular right now? Memoirs, books available on Kindle Unlimited and Prime Reading, and the latest from big authors, including Colson Whitehead, Elizabeth Gilbert, and Taylor Jenkins Reid.

Here at Goodreads we like to know what people are reading. From peeking at the books of our fellow commuters to not-so-surreptitiously checking out the stacks on our coworkers' desks, we embrace our curious nature. For non-fiction, I'm currently reading Brené Brown's "Dare To Lead", "The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success" by Deepak Chopra, and "Change Your Questions, Change Your Life" by Marilee Adams. All three are good and insightful reads so far!

message 65: by Joanne (new)

Joanne Fate I'm listening to "A Negro Explorer at the North Pole" by Matthew Henson who went with Commander Peary on several expeditions. Did they make it to the actual location? It's still being debated, but this book is quite interesting and I like hearing this man's perspective. The narrator is good, but I don't know why an African American didn't narrate it first.

I'm going around the world with books this summer and next up is "Islam and the Future of Tolerance" by Sam Harris and Maajid Nawaz.
