Your First 10 Minutes at Work

Another workweek begins and you’re already wishing for the weekend to come. Perhaps you worked through Saturday and Sunday. Maybe you didn’t get enough rest to help you feel refreshed. Whatever the reason may be, you’re probably going to need some motivation to help you stay productive and get you through the day.

Besides going for that mid-afternoon coffee run, we recommend dedicating the first 10 minutes of your day to setting yourself up for success. According to a blog article by Lifehack.org, “the first 10 minutes of your day in the office can make or break the amount of work you get done.” The article highlights 7 helpful tasks to be accomplished during the first 10 minutes, all of which involve positive, productive and intentional activities. Our favorites include: write 3 things you’re grateful for; write down your daily affirmation; and read an inspirational quote (follow us on Twitter for daily quotes).

If you’re interested in implementing habits that’ll super charge your Monday (and every other day), check out the article here: http://www.lifehack.org/317723/7-things-that-productive-people-the-first-10-minutes-work
