A new year, a new me

So, a week into the new year 2016 and I feel a sense of excitement, joy and gratitude. Excitement for what is to come - so many new adventures. Freya's Child, almost ready - had problems with the cover, but fingers crossed it is nearly complete and we can launch my second book to the world. HURRAY! Also exciting is the editing of 'Between Worlds' is going ahead, slowly, but surely and I am considering various options for the cover. I am also editing 'Where Rivers Meet' and trying to sort out the ending! Working on my old faerie stories to begin sending out to publishers and other possibilities.
Away from the writing is Chakradance www.chakradance.com of which I am beginning monthly sessions at Hafarn Heddwch, near LLanwrst from February and continuing my monthly sessions at my home - all welcome, just book your place through me derwenna1@o2.co.uk
Joy comes from all of the above, but also my daughter will be turning 18 in March. The joy I feel whenever I think of all that she has achieved in her life and has become a strong, kind, loving woman is amazing. Having Autism, Dyspraxia and minimal learning difficulties is never going to be an easy road, but Megan has achieved so much, fighting through so much negativity to smile and show love, it truly is a shame when people hurt her, but they lose, not Megan.
And finally gratitude. I am grateful for everything I have and have achieved so far. My ability to write bloody good stories amazes me all the time! I don't wish to sound big-headed, but there it is - I am great!!
I am grateful for my true family and friends who stand with me through everything and my loving pets that never leave me alone!
I am grateful for the rising sun and hope that as it grows stronger, our lives become richer in love, abundance and happiness - I wish this for all of you too.
May this year bring you all that you need in your life. Sending you many blessings, love and joy.
Paula :)
