Mallory Heart wrote: "More please! I hanker for the Wishing Well--eager to learn the possibilities of how an incorrectly worded wish:)"Thanks for reading, Mallory! Duly noted, and, confidentially (between you, me, and everyone reading this), that's my favorite option, too! ;)
While I do enjoy a poorly worded wish (unexpected consequences galore indeed!), I would have to vote for finding a wizard. I foresee many shenanigans!
Bret wrote: "Where's the 50 Shades Of Grimple option?"Let's just say you're going to see more than a few orcs buried in Grimple's mine shaft, if you know what I mean.
And I hope you do, because I really have no idea what I just said.
Ginger wrote: "While I do enjoy a poorly worded wish (unexpected consequences galore indeed!), I would have to vote for finding a wizard. I foresee many shenanigans!"Duly noted, Ginger! And who doesn't love shenanigans??
I think this is a most brilliant idea! At first I was just glad to get another (probably funny-as-hell) blog post but then I got THIS! Ha! You just made my day!And I already love this quirky story!
Wishing Well of Wilkinton please (there's lots that can go wrong there). xD

I do what I can to make the days of the little people. ;) (KIDDING!)
Thanks, Trish! Your vote has been recorded.
Find a wizard!! You shouldn't be shocked in the slightest to find that I want the dumbest course of action to take place ;) Loving the humor!
Definitely go kidnap a wizard, that'd be fun to steal his wand and cause some chaos. LOL! :) Great story so far. I'm enjoying it. Keep up the great work!
Thanks, Kristen and Amber! Not surprising that multiple people are voting for the most reckless option...that's just how this crowd rolls.
Sean wrote: "I do what I can to make the days of the little people. ;) (KIDDING!)"You do remember me being half-Italian, having read an awful lot of books about medieval killing techniques, having a greenhouse with Belladonna in it and a cat named Greebo?! *evil grin*

Fair point...I take it all back. ALL OF IT.
I'd prefer to remain unkilled, whether by means modern or medieval...
Amber wrote: "BTW what's the name of the main character anyway? I know its not grimple. Just curious."It's Heloise--she just hasn't identified herself as such yet. ;)
BTW, if you do decide to do the wizard option, can it be an evil wizard the characters capture? That would be interesting to see how they'd try to capture a wizard and it is a dark one.
Seanilicious. Wondrous beginning. I especially enjoyed this line, because lols:Everyone loves a man swinging his big club around, right?
I vote for kidnapping the wizard! And just because they do kidnap the wizard doesn't mean they can't ALSO go to the Well, if that also is a popular option.....
I look forward to the next installment :D

Look at Jess, trying to have her cake and eat it too... ;)
Jess (J-Rex The Book Eating Dinosaur) (LPC) (Nynaeve) wrote: "I love cake."I always thought that was a silly expression. I mean, what ELSE are you supposed to do with cake (which I also love)?
Jess (J-Rex The Book Eating Dinosaur) (LPC) (Nynaeve) wrote: "Exactly! I'm not just going to look at it, how cruel."I mean, I might give it a hug and say supportive, nurturing things to it...
But then I'm going to eat it. All of it.
I love this story already! I agree with Jess--maybe they can make their predicament even worse with an unfortunately worded wish at the Well, and then be driven to kidnap the wizard in an attempt to rectify the situation. I think a rather inept wizard, or one whose results are unpredictable, might be an interesting addition to their little group. I know that whatever direction the story takes, it will be entertaining!

Muhahahahahahaha. *gives best villain-ish laugh*
Regarding the cake: There is a Party for the Rightful Use of Cakes in whose regulations it is clearly stated that anyone NOT eating cake shall be tortured by being tickled to death with a bird's feather! I woulld never risk that! So eating the cake it is!
You're making it difficult for me to choose! *stomps feet* Both have different appeal so I'll take whatever you dish out.
Aileene wrote: "... so I'll take whatever you dish out. "We all are. The main thing is to get more of Sean's writing after all and judging by the start, this will be one hilarious ride (pun fully intended)! xD

Awww...thanks, Trish!
I can already see where this is headed...and, oh, what fun it's going to be...
@Aileene--stuff's going to get dished out, all right! ;)
Aileene! You know not what you do :DThe gauntlet is down Sean!
I have a feeling this 'dishing out' shall involve cake in some way or another....
Ginger wrote: "Aileene! You know not what you do :DThe gauntlet is down Sean!

Have a feeling, or are really hoping...?

Um. Yes ;)
Amber wrote: "So have you decided on villains yet? just curious. You got your heroes anyway."I have some ideas, but some of that will be determined by the choices you all make as we get further in. Sounds like we're going to need to have a villain who either loves or hates cake, though. ;)

One fat serving of whatever you will dish out, pls! Oh, can I upsize the serving too? Coz your free short stories come and go quicker than a $5 hooker. Make matters worse I have to wait for the next installment which I have no clue - NO CLUE! as to when you're dishing it out. Such cruelty you have displayed there. And...patience is not my greatest virtue.
So, get cracking, SG!

I think...I THINK...there were some insults in there somewhere. And some threats. And some orders.
So, pretty much my standard interaction with an Australian lady.
No. No insults there - you know very well that we are ALL infatuated with your writings so DEFINITELY no insults included. But yes, some threats and some orders were issued.
Aileene wrote: "No. No insults there - you know very well that we are ALL infatuated with your writings so DEFINITELY no insults included. But yes, some threats and some orders were issued."Flattery mixed with an iron fist is a very effective way to get me to do things, for the record.
I know you so well, SG. Shame you don't reciprocate the same sentiment coz if you do, cake won't be mentioned but noodles :)
