December is upon us!
https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/month-...
Above is the link to my post on Linkedin, regarding the fact that without me realising it, December is here and I'm not ready!!
I am so busy with short stories, editing, working on finishing the fourth novel 'Where Rivers Meet' by the time my child breaks up from school, I want to stop and breathe and enjoy the build up with friends and family but time waits for no one it seems.
I also like to reflect during this month of what I have done, my achievements but also the ones that 'got away', be it projects I never finished, stories I still hold in my head or friends that came and went and blessed my life in many ways but were not meant to remain. It is a question I ponder regularly and frequently get frustrated, as its hard to comprehend the force of the universe who knows my path better than I. I believe that I have to keep trusting and being patient - and those who really know me, know this is VERY VERY HARD!!!!
I want to finish that book. I want to write down that story. I want to get on with that project and get my books out there quicker - but who is to say that it is the right time? I usually find, the time I wanted it would have been wrong, so i wait for the right time for Echoes to appear in American retail stores. I wait for Freya's Child cover to be ready and out asap. I wait for 'Between Worlds' to be edited properly and get it out to my readers next year along with everything else!
I also need to challenge myself on what I do have and I am extremely grateful for it all. Others are not so lucky and it is important to remember and help wherever possible so long as it harm none. I will be shopping this week for toys to donate to children in North Wales who's parents through no fault of their own have found themselves in dire need. The children should not suffer, their innocence must remain as intact as possible and to help them find joy on Christmas morning can only be positive.
May I wish all my readers a loving, joyful and blessed month believing in whatever you need to bring happiness to your life. Be grateful for what you have and remember, love and music are all that matters.
Blessings
