The picture does fit the story of CVA perfectly. But this staid old woman who was born in the 1920s, grew up in a prim Catholic household in the 30s and 40s NEVER would have picked up that book if I hadn't known the author! LOL! One of my favorite Vorkosigan books.

My first impulse was. Awesome! I wanna buy that! Quickly followed by, "Oh No.....$4,000.00..."I guess I'll go buy a lottery ticket instead.
Though in case the Lottery thing doesn't work out, I hope it goes to a deserving Bujold fan home.

I adored that back cover so much that I researched Dave Seeley, bought the art program Corel Painter, and spent months on my own book cover using his techniques. It received a good review from a social media-active Cover Designer (perhaps cuz I invoked Seeley's name...)
